Advanced Weight Loss

The Advanced Weight Loss Company is South Texas’s premier healthy weight loss organization. Located in Corpus Christi, TX, the Advanced Weight Loss center introduces the Serotonin-Plus Weight Loss Program. The SPWLP is the pioneering brainchild of weight loss doctors Dr. Robert Posner, and brought to the South Texas area by Dr. Dale Eubank.

Dr. Dale Eubank

A seventh generation Texan, Dr. Eubank graduated from Baylor’s University with a bachelor’s in biology and later from University of Texas Southwest Medical School, where he graduated in the top ten of his class. Dr. Eubank did several years of residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas before opening his own private practice in Corpus Christi in 1983. Now he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Most notably he is also a member of the Society for Reproductive Medicine and a member of the American Society of Clinical Research Professionals.

A Healthy, Medically Supported Weight Loss Program

Although his main practice has been focused around gynecology and not weight loss trends, Dr. Eubank is the owner and medical director of Advanced Research Associates. Because of his focus on women’s reproductive health, Dr. Eubank has seen the way that society’s expectations can be harmful to such a natural process with it’s oppressive stigmatisms against weight gain and obesity. Additionally, with South Texas having one of the highest percentages of morbidly obese persons in the United States, Dr. Eubank has taken it upon himself to introduce and guide a healthy, medically supported program that ensures long-term weight loss success by introducing a full lifestyle change with only minor medicinal assistance.

SPWLPlogo2Advanced Weight Loss’s current medical weight loss program is called the Serotonin-Plus Weight loss solution. This program works by suppressing clients’ appetites with low doses of prescription medication like Phenentine and by developing healthier lifestyles and diets with the nutritionists they have on staff. Upon your first visit, you should expect your medical history to be reviewed, to receive a physical examination, an EKG, as well as laboratory blood testing. Follow-up weekly check-ins with the resident Dr. or other medical health staff enables the program to be well medically supervised and sound for its patients.
