(Wellington, FL) July 27, 2016
Eagle Arts Academy, a non-profit charter school dedicated to promoting and incorporating the arts into their core curriculum, is pleased to announce the location for their new Boca Raton campus. Located just off of Federal Highway (US 1) and less than ¼ mile from Glades Road, this location is home to the Wayne Barton Center, an after school study center full equipped to handle any child’s educational needs. However, because the center is not in use during the day, Eagle Arts Academy has signed a long-term lease with the building’s owner, the Atlantic Commercial Group, Inc. in order to become more accessible to the eastern half of Palm Beach County.
Eagle Arts Academy is known for its unique focus on the arts in education. More than just attempting to implement more extracurricular activities into your child’s day, Eagle Arts seeks to combine artistic learning methods within the core curriculum of science, math, and language arts using their unique program called ARTADEMIX. This program has been developed in order to cultivate the student’s creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication.
By opening up a new campus location, Eagle Arts Academy is opening up this unique education opportunity to a wider range of children. Although the Boca Raton campus is smaller than the one in Wellington, if an equal amount of support is shown for the program in a new location, it will go a long way to proving that arts in education is something that a large percentage of parents seek for their children and might just be something worthwhile to invest in.
